Remuneration

One of the principles of our work is that we only realise projects that are secured by funding or other means in such a way that we can guarantee adequate payment for all project participants. Artists are always paid for their participation in exhibitions at soft power according to the minimum fees implemented by the bbk Berlin (Professional Association of Visual Artists). We also expect this principle to be observed by all collaboration partners who curate and present events or exhibitions at soft power as part of our programme.

The association soft power e.V. exclusively and directly pursues non-profit purposes in the sense of the section "tax-privileged purposes" of the tax code. All elected members of the association are volunteers, i.e. the board members are not remunerated for their work on the board. In the context of projects, the artistic directors of soft power are remunerated, as are all other project participants, for their respective role in the project (curator, project manager, graphic designer, editor, etc.). The funds of the association may only be used for the statutory purposes.
