Eva Herrmann

Eva Herrmann

Eva Herrmann's work addresses the role art plays in social transformation processes and questions what fusions it can enter into in order to stimulate thought-provoking impulses for the future. She completed a BA in Integrated Design at the Technical University of Cologne and subsequently studied in the MA programme Futurology at the Free University of Berlin with a focus on sociology and politics (although the latter degree remains unfinished to date – it is difficult to draw a line under the *future*). She has been involved in various curatorial projects within the independent scene in Cologne and Berlin for the past ten years, was employed by a contemporary art gallery in Berlin, as well as working for the platform for young contemporary art KubaParis. In addition to her work as co-director of soft power she is currently working as a project-related assistant to the Berlin-based artist Yalda Afsah and as the manager of a restaurant in Berlin.
