Treating personal experience and fiction as equals, the work blends collective cultural memories with imagined narratives to construct a fictional character that unfolds through voice, music, and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Developed during their residency at <em>soft power<\/em> the piece combines self-written texts with original compositions, recordings, and reworked musical material. Text, voice, sampling, CDJs, and sound production are used to create an embodied soundscape in which memory, projection, and fabrication continuously overlap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Drawing from their distinct artistic backgrounds, the two create a work situated somewhere between a live concert, DJ set, and enacted sound installation. At its core, <em>Pogolina<\/em> offers a camp take on authenticity: questioning the authority and singularity of the voice, the construction of identity through sound, and the tension between what is lived, performed, borrowed, and reproduced. Existing and original material circulate on equal terms, blurring the boundaries between personal testimony, ambitions, dreams and their manifestation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nasanin Dahaghin and Julius Pristauz were selected for this year\u2019s <em>super soft summer residency<\/em> (15.7.\u201315.8.2026), a format, through which <em>soft power<\/em>regularly welcomes artists, musicians or performers<em> <\/em>to take over our space for a period of time to pursue, rehearse, explore their current research, projects and ideas. Affekten und K\u00f6rperbildern, und was passiert, wenn choreografische und musikalische Praktiken aufeinandertreffen. Im Rahmen der Residency werden Nasanin und Julius ihre Zusammenarbeit, die aus den Bereichen konzeptueller Performancekunst und Bildender Kunst sowie Musik, Soundproduktion und Soundperformance sch\u00f6pft, vertiefen und gemeinsam an einer neuen Performance und neuem musikalischen und filmischen Material arbeiten: \u201eIrgendwo zwischen Live-Konzert, Karaoke, Cover, Lipsync-Performance und DJ-Set wollen wir eine B\u00fchnensituation erarbeiten, die zwischen ehrlicher Intimit\u00e4t und oberfl\u00e4chlicher Inszenierung pendelt.\u201c<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Nasanin Dahaghin<\/strong> ist eine in Berlin lebende Performerin, Soundk\u00fcnstlerin und DJ. Ihre k\u00fcnstlerische Praxis bewegt sich an der Schnittstelle von Tanz, Choreografie, zeitbasierter Medienkunst, Performance und Soundinstallation. In ihren Arbeiten erforscht sie Rituale, Dualit\u00e4ten und Mythologien sowie die Beziehung zwischen Klang und Bewegung. Stimme, Rhythmus und Wiederholung dienen ihr als zentrale k\u00fcnstlerische Mittel, um Wahrnehmung zu strukturieren und kollektive Erfahrungsr\u00e4ume zu schaffen.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Julius Pristauz <\/strong>setzt sich in seiner multimedialen Praxis mit performativen Ausdrucksformen und deren Beziehung zu gebautem Raum in verschiedenen Medien und Formaten auseinander. Dabei geht es h\u00e4ufig um die Konstruktion und die Durchl\u00e4ssigkeit von Identit\u00e4ten sowie um Spannungen zwischen privaten und \u00f6ffentlichen Sph\u00e4ren im weiteren Sinne. Neben seiner T\u00e4tigkeit als freischaffender K\u00fcnstler arbeitet er als freier Kurator und Autor im Bereich zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Kultur.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Im Rahmen der <em>super soft residency<\/em> bietet <em>soft power <\/em>regelm\u00e4\u00dfig K\u00fcnstler*innen, Musiker*innen oder Performer*innen Raum, um an ihren aktuellen Projekten, Proben und Recherchen zu arbeiten und diese weiterzuentwickeln.
