Collection, processing, and use of personal data when ordering from the shop
When you submit an order, we only collect and use your personal data where this is necessary for the fulfillment and handling of your requests. The provision of data is necessary for the conclusion of a contract. Failure to provide it will prevent the conclusion of any contract. The processing will occur on the basis of art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR and is required for the fulfillment of a contract with you. We will not forward your data to third parties without your explicit consent. This only excludes our service partners which we require in order to handle the contractual relationship or service providers we use to process an order. Along with the recipients named in the clauses of this data protection declaration, these may be recipients in the following categories: Shipping providers, payment service providers, merchandise management service providers, service providers for order processing, web hosts, IT service providers. We will comply strictly with legal requirements in every case. The scope of data transmission is restricted to a minimum.
Sold Out Items and Order Cancellation
Occasionally, items are sold out and cannot be fulfilled. In this case, the item would be refunded or at our discretion and if available, the customer can choose to have another item for the same price sent.
Order Completion
The sales contract between soft power e.V. and the customer is finalised upon delivery of the item. Before then, soft power e.V. reserves the right to cancel the order and withdraw from the contract.
Shipping
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the provided information (delivery address and product information), and will be communicated to the customer before the final placement of the order.
Returns
You have the right to cancel the sales contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods or, in the case of partial deliveries, the last delivery. If you make use of this option, we will immediately send you (e.g. by email) a confirmation of receipt of your revocation. To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of cancellation before the expiry of the cancellation period.
If you revoke this contract, we shall reimburse you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the most favorable standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your revocation of this contract. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged any fees because of this repayment. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back. Items returned to us in a non-sellable condition, will not be refunded.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days. The return costs are to be borne by you.
