How do the love songs of the future sound? What is the sound of a love song that has left the beaten paths of heteronormative views on romantic love? How does a love song sound that was not written from a single person's point of view but by a collective body? These are the questions that sound and video artist Ari Merten examined during their super soft residency in collaboration with Peter Scherrebeck Hansen. Together with a team of interdisciplinary artists Ari trained an artificial intelligence with love songs and lyrics about love. From this polyphony, the algorithm generates lyrics about love, which Ari and Peter developed and rehearsed as a choreographic-musical performance. soft power as a choreographic-musical performance. 

The super soft residency is a format, in which soft power regularly welcomes artists, musicians or performers to take over our space for a period of time to pursue, rehearse, explore their current research, projects and ideas.
