Der Salon besch\u00e4ftigte sich mit Fragen von Mutation und Transformation an den Schnittstellen von Nachhaltigkeit, Science Fiction und Technologie, schlug posthumane Perspektiven vor und erkundete die Potenziale spekulativer (Auto-)Fiktion. Die Veranstaltung pr\u00e4sentierte Arbeiten der bildenden K\u00fcnstler*innen Anan Fries und Anne Duk Hee Jordan, gefolgt von einem gemeinsamen Gespr\u00e4ch, das von Zippora Elders, Leiterin der kuratorischen Abteilung des Gropius Bau, moderiert wurde. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anan Fries arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von digitaler und darstellender Kunst. Anan hat das Kollektiv machina eX mitbegr\u00fcndet und -geleitet, das immersive Gamification-Erlebnisse entwickelt, sowie Henrike Iglesias, ein experimentelles feministisches Performance-Kollektiv mit einer starken Vorliebe f\u00fcr Pop und Politik. Derzeit erforscht Anna hybride \u00c4sthetiken des virtuellen und physischen Worldbuilding. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Klangk\u00fcnstlerin und Komponistin Malu Peeters entstanden <em>VIRTUAL WOMBS<\/em>, ein spekulativer Essay, der VR und Live-Performance kombiniert, und <em>[POSTHUMAN WOMBS]<\/em>, ein Hybrid aus VR-Erfahrung und r\u00e4umlicher Klanginstallation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Verg\u00e4nglichkeit und Transformation sind die zentralen Themen in der Praxis von Anne Duk Hee Jordan. Durch Bewegung und Performance verleiht sie Materialit\u00e4t eine weitere Dimension \u2013 sie baut motorisierte Skulpturen und schafft essbare Landschaften. Ihre Skulpturen sollen die Betrachter*innen in die Gegenwart ziehen und einen Dialog zwischen Naturph\u00e4nomenen, Philosophie und Kunst er\u00f6ffnen. Anne Duk Hee Jordan \u00f6ffnet T\u00fcren zu einem Universum, in dem sie auf humorvolle und romantische Weise Maschinen erschafft, die roboterhaftes Bewusstsein und organischen zyklischen Verfall und Leben gegen\u00fcberstellen. Ihre Arbeiten regen zu einem Perspektivenwechsel an, indem sie den Fokus weg vom Menschen hin zu einer gesamten \u00d6kologie verlagern. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Reihe <em>Salons on Sustainability <\/em>(Salons \u00fcber Nachhaltigkeit) wurde von Air Berlin Alexanderplatz in Zusammenarbeit mit der Schweizer Botschaft in Berlin konzipiert. Der Salon nahm die Form einer Ansammlung von Sprachnachrichten an, um Begriffe von Kollektivit\u00e4t zu diskutieren \u2013 eine Selbstreflexion, ein Fragebogen, ein Gespr\u00e4ch, ein Monolog, Dialog, Multilog. <em>soft power<\/em> lud daf\u00fcr andere Kollektive und kollektiv organisierte Gruppen ein, sich diesem \"Gespr\u00e4ch\" per Sprachnachricht anzuschlie\u00dfen: Alicia Reuter (Mitbegr\u00fcnderin und Co-Direktorin des Berlin Art Prize), Anissa Carrington (Mitbegr\u00fcnderin und Mitglied des DJ-Netzwerks SLIC Unit), Viviane Tabach &amp; Theseas Efstathopoulos (zwei sobat-sobat (Kunstvermittler*innen der documenta fifteen) und Herausgeber*innen der Publikation <em>Ever Been Friendzoned by an Institution?<\/em>) und Tra My Nguyen (Mitbegr\u00fcnderin und Mitglied des Designkollektivs Studio ABO). <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>Mit dieser k\u00fcnstlichen (Re-)Konstruktion eines Gespr\u00e4chs, das nie wirklich stattgefunden hat, bezog sich diese Ausgabe des <em>Air Salon<\/em> auf das zeitgen\u00f6ssische Ph\u00e4nomen, Sprachnachrichten hin und her zu schicken, anstatt ein Gespr\u00e4ch zu f\u00fchren \u2013 manchmal lange Monologe, die keine Antwort erwarten, manchmal mehrere 3-Sekunden-Schnipsel im Austausch, anstatt die andere Person einfach anzurufen. Als zeitgen\u00f6ssische Form steht die Sprachnachricht und ihre st\u00e4ndig wachsende Popularit\u00e4t m\u00f6glicherweise Sinnbildlich f\u00fcr kollektive Praktiken und wie sie oft (dys)funktionieren: ein st\u00e4ndiges Senden und Empfangen, das Zusammenf\u00fchren mehrerer Kan\u00e4le, um schlie\u00dflich (und hoffentlich) einen bedeutungsvollen Austausch zu schaffen, der nie mit nur einer Stimme spricht. <\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p>ABA (Air Berlin Alexanderplatz) e.V. ist eine forschungsorientierte K\u00fcnstler*inneninitiative, die 2009 von den K\u00fcnstler*innen Susanne Kriemann und Aleksander Komarov in Berlin gegr\u00fcndet wurde. Der Schwerpunkt des Programms liegt auf ephemerer k\u00fcnstlerischer Forschung und kollektiver und experimenteller Wissensproduktion.
